Dr. R. Glen Willis, D.M.D.	Education Graduated from Winthrop University in 1989 (Magna cum Laude) with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. Received dental degree (D.M.D.) from Medical University of South Carolina in 1993 (graduated as 1st Honor graduate, Class rank #1). Completed 1 year post-graduate residency in "Advanced Education in General Dentistry" with the United States Air Force, David Grant Medical Center, Fairfield, California. Served two years active duty in the United States Air Force at Charleston AFB in Charleston, SC. Professional Affiliations Member of Academy for Sports Dentistry. Member of the Academy of General Dentistry. Member of the American Dental Association. Member of the South Carolina Dental Association. Member of the Tri-County Dental Association. Dr. George A. Hook III, D.D.S.	Education Graduated in 1963 from Bessemer City (N.C.) High School. Received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dentistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1967. Graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in 1970. Professional Affiliations Served as local delegate to the South Carolina Dental Association from 1988 to 1991. Recently received a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. Recently received a fellowship in the American Society for Dental Aesthetics. Member of the American Dental Association. Member of the S.C. Dental Association. Member of the Tri-County Dental Association. Member of the Catawba Dental Study Club. Career Highlights Practiced dentistry in the U.S. Army from 1970 to 1972. Started a private practice in Rock Hill on Mt. Gallant Road in 1972. Moved to his current location on India Hook Road - a project of the Catawba Dental Club - in 1975. Dr. Maggie O'Connell, D.D.S.	Education Graduated from the University of Florida in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition. Graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland Dental School in 2008. Completed 1 year post-graduate general practice residency at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, NJ. Professional Affiliations Member of the American Dental Association. Member of the Academy of General Dentistry. Alumna of Psi Omega Dental Fraternity-Alpha Chapter and Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society. Career Highlights Volunteered with Operation Smile as an intern in Brazil in 2004 and student dentist in Hanoi, Vietnam in 2008. Helped organize Give Kids a Smile program at Mountainside Hospital and dental screenings at local Head Start programs. Community Activities Grew up in Delaware and Florida and recently moved to the Rock Hill/Charlotte area near sister and brother-in-law, while parents and twin sister reside in Florida. Avid Gator sports fan, enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, spending time with family and friends, working with children, and committing to continuing dental education for better patient care.
